Outer edge

Sometimes it seems that every Hollywood movie addresses us, the viewer, as an outlaw, an outsider. Every business claims to be thinking outside some unspecified box. The art world routinely describes work, approvingly, as edgy. Branding for ordinary mass products (like my coat) uses these images of the periphery to claim a radical stance. So – a little argument over words, and between the space of the metaphor and my space.
